Florida Adventures...Continued

So, Florida continues to be full of adventures! So far this vacation we have met an Irishman who fell in love with Silas, almost became homeless, saw a child catch a squirrel with his bare hands, a woman topless in the middle of a shopping mall (Europeans!) and still have 5 nights to go!

We've moved on to Tampa and are preparing for the big wedding festivities. J.L. will be preforming the ceremony for his brother and fiance on Saturday, but everyone seems to be converging upon this joint starting today. Now that we now have legitimate Internet access within our reach and a camera that continues to function, our updates may be more consistent. More Florida Pics

Here are the latest pictures from Florida! They might be the last, as our digital camera is slowly but surely trying to die on us! But, we think we got some great shots in the meantime! We have a few from Sea World, but since Sunday afternoon Orlando saw more rain than the average for the month of April, we didn’t stay long! Maybe tomorrow’s attempt will be better! Enjoy the pics!

Florida!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, we made it to Florida!! Our flights were on time, Silas loved the air, and our luggage made it to Orlando... which is great considering we repacked one suitcase 7 times! We are spending all of our time relaxing and catching up on sleep!!!!! We had Silas’ 9 month well visit right before leaving and the Nurse Practitioner finally figured out that Silas was not sleeping at night because of reflux. Since putting him back on the medication he has been sleeping 12 hours each night!!!! We could not have asked for a better start to our vacation!

It has been great to be out with Silas! He doesn’t know what to do with all of the excitement. He just takes all of the activity in with a laugh and lots of napping! The pictures below tell the story…Downtown Disney and his first take at swimming! Prodigy!

Yesterday, Silas discovered his love of the piano. He sits on the bench and plays away. Although his technique is still lacking, the music actually is not all that bad! In fact, when being carried around in the room with the piano, he will launch himself almost out of our arms and in that direction. We are often reminded that he was born during the organ postlude at church. For the sake of maintaining any sort of dignity, we do hope he chooses the piano instead.

Updates!!!

We have been blog update neglegent and for that we are deeply sorry!! It has been way too long, though, and we need to post a bunch of pictures to catch everyone up! So, we have a little Valentine's Day, a little sitting up, a little bit of everything!

Laughter

The other night (way too late for Silas to have been awake!) J.L. randomly dropped something and said, "I hope this doesn't DRIP (key word) on anything." Well, Silas thought that was the funniest thing he had ever heard! So, the word "drip" became the word of the day. By the next morning the intrigue had worn off. But for this one night, it was apparently hysterical!
